About George

George founded Metis Wealth in 2013 along with Simon Arthur. He’s been advising high net worth clients for more than 20 years, including lottery winners, partners of law firms, partners of accountancy firms and barristers. He specialises in cashflow modelling and strategic planning, helping people think about the bigger picture and invest sensibly for the long term.

George previously spent 15 years working at Cavanagh Wealth Management, which was subsequently taken over by Close Brothers in 2011. In this role, he was responsible for running a team of financial planners and was Director of a key joint venture with a large Southern Counties solicitors practice.

George is married with three children. Outside of work, he enjoys most sports (both playing and watching them!), eating good food and socialising with friends and family.
