Initial meeting
The process starts with an initial consultation. We will have a detailed discussion about your plans and aspirations, both now and in the future. We’ll talk about your time frames and your appetite for risk and how these align with your objectives.
This is also just a chance for us to get to know each other better and see if we’re a good fit – after all, we want to ensure we can add value to your situation. This first meeting is held at our expense and there’s no obligation to continue working together.
Research
After the consultation, we’ll go away and conduct a detailed analysis of your current circumstances, establishing whether the planning that’s been implemented to date will achieve your set goals.
This stage involves an analysis of the investments currently held, their charges and performance, plus how they compare to your own risk profile.
Presenting the findings
We will meet again to present our findings and explain our thoughts on how we should proceed with your plan going forward, if you choose to. This is an opportunity to have an open discussion about our proposed strategy and we welcome your feedback.
If you’re happy with the plan, we’ll proceed to make a full recommendation in writing. This will provide a full rationale for the advice being given and the impact of this advice on your set goals.
Implementation
Once everything is agreed, we will implement the financial advice on your behalf. We’ll take care of all the required paperwork and continue to monitor your investments, keeping you updated on progress.
Ongoing reviews
It’s important to review your plan on a regular basis to ensure the advice remains relevant to your needs and plans for the future. You will meet with your financial planner at least once a year to review your investments and discuss any changes to your circumstances.
